Who are we?
Kyle and Allyson Shannon are residents of the Chattanooga, Tennessee Area. Our interests are primarily trains and photography, as well as our travels to explore the many great places in this world.
We believe great stories and great images should be shared so all can see, so we created this website to showcase both our travels and our photography. Feel free to explore our albums to just look at photos or read our travel blog to get the full behind the scenes scoop on our photography! While this website is for fun for us, it does showcase our portfolio, so if you would like to use the photography for a project you are working on or have prints or some other photo item made, feel free to contact us to ask about pricing.
Allyson primarily uses a Sony A7 camera with a Sony 24-240mm lens for her photography.
Kyle shoots with a 1970 Hasselblad 500C with an 80mm lens. He uses a variety of film stocks, but mostly shoots Fuji Velvia 50 and Velvia 100. He has also shot with a Rolleiflex Automat typ K4B from 1941.
We both shoot with our iPhones as well to get some of the behind the scenes photos that you may see on here as well.
All film is scanned with an Epson V800 flatbed scanner.
